As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the CPO and the Software team. Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, overseeing the deployment pipeline for our robotic products, and enhancing our in-office IT systems. You will ensure efficient deployment processes using saltstack, Python, and industry standard software tooling, and contribute to improvements in our data management and automation workflows.

Our office is located in Hayward, CA, about 25-30 mins average commute from most places in the Bay Area. We offer competitive pay and a great team environment.
The Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Reporting to: CPO
Location: on-site, in-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Oversee in-office IT operations, including network management and system provisioning.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments to our robotic products.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using saltstack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Lead initiatives to improve system security and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Route 53, and IAM.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and system administration.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as saltstack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
