About the opportunity

For our headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Growth Marketer!

Our Amsterdam-based Marketing team is currently comprised of a Marketing Manager. Your main responsibilities are to grow our user base and existing user engagement. You are personable and able to communicate across all levels and locations (NL, US) internally & externally. You can take on diverse challenges and quickly adapt with a problem solving and hands-on mentality.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Sales, Customer Success and Product teams, you will be responsible for growing our user base and converting users to paying customers. You will do this using a mix of in-product and marketing growth strategies. You will be responsible for designing and executing these programs together with a small team. Our focus is the US dairy market, and our primary customer is the US Dairy farmers and their advisors. A focus of this program is to help create a network effect where farmers invite advisors and vice versa.

While knowledge of the market and industry is a significant plus, it is not a hard requirement. A well-versed growth hacker will know how to acquire users no matter what industry they are from.

We work closely with remote stakeholders, freelancers, agencies and partners. Our team’s startup mindset is solutions-oriented, pragmatic and transparent. We take ownership of individual work and support each other in cross-functional initiatives.

What will you do

  • Be responsible for increasing user conversion & retention
  • Analyze performance metrics and customer insights across growth channels for channel mix optimization, customer base growth, and increased channel profitability
  • Implement experiments in product and marketing initiatives to optimize user acquisition and enhance conversion rates
  • Provide actionable insights for customer acquisition, optimizing marketing channel mix, campaigns, targeting, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to optimize our user growth and revenue retention. Your input will be used to build features and functionality in the product that will help us grow our user base.
  • Conduct and report in-depth analyses, create dashboards, organize and evaluate A/B tests, and provide ad-hoc insights on monthly basis to senior management
  • Drive channel strategy, including budget adjustments, targeting, conversion funnel, and discount strategy

Job requirements

Who are you

  • You have a bachelor’s degree from a relevant field (Business, Economics, Marketing or a similar field) at minimum
  • You have proven success in optimizing and managing user growth campaigns
  • You have 5 years of work experience in a role as Growth Marketer preferably in a fast-paced tech start-up environment
  • You are hands-on and have worked with CRM, Payment Systems, Google Analytics and other relevant tools required for measuring and executing user growth strategies
  • You have strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
  • You are familiar with emerging marketing technologies and trends
  • You are self-motivated and with a driven mindset
