Nuts and Bolts of U.S. Regulatory Dossiers for Genetically Engineered Products
June 8 @ 10:00 am - June 9 @ 5:00 pm$150
To be commercialized and grown in the United States, genetically engineered (GE) crops go through an extensive food, feed, and environmental safety assessment process, which in certain instances, requires complex consultations with three different U.S. regulatory agencies (USDA-APHIS, FDA, and EPA).
The workshop is an opportunity for small and large companies, academics, and other potential developers to learn from USDA-APHIS, EPA, and FDA officials about the specifics of putting together actual dossiers for regulatory review – based on real case studies.
By focusing on actual case studies, the workshop is designed to simplify and demystify data requirements and regulatory dossier.
Case studies to be presented:
• High Oleic Soybean
• Blight Resistant Potato
