Invest Caribbean: Forum on Optimizing Value Chains in Agriculture Industry

The 2015 Invest Caribbean Business Leadership Dialogue on November 19-20, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill Hotel in Washington, D.C. convened by the Institute of Caribbean Studies, will focus on emerging trade and investment opportunities in  ethnic and speciality niche market foods, biofuel, farmaceuticals and fisheries under the theme, “Leveraging Natural Resources Capital: Optimizing the Value Chain.”

The event will include, “Stories From The Field” ,  real-life scenarios and lessons learned shared by experts in the field to guide sustainable partnerships within the agribusiness sector.

The event brings together private sector stakeholders, farmers, and program managers for dialogue on priorities for increasing investments and trade opportunities in the region. The candid exchange also provides a platform for businesses large and small to obtain information on how to access and leverage financing within these sectors.

Ltd., a leading provider of ISO 9000 services in the Caribbean, for the agribusiness sector in the Caribbean, through her work with key regional organizations and institutions promises.  “ What is needed is  more linkages – forward, backward and sideways — value chain optimization,  for there is still much more to be developed.”
