Agriculture is again at an intersection facing not only financial pressure from low commodity prices, but also a changing market place for its products. Many on the periphery of the industry are trying to invest in agriculture or integrated business opportunities.
– With consumer trends rapidly moving the needle into new and more complex areas, which trends will have long enough shelf life to generate profits for capital investment?

– How should production agriculture’s traditional players modify their businesses to fit into this changing market?
Our symposium will bring together attendees from across the country and throughout the food supply chain. Symposium faculty led by keynote presenter Jayson Lusk from Purdue, will share their experience, opinions, and research from up and down the value chain of agriculture to help answer these questions and more. Nathan Kauffman, Omaha Federal Reserve Branch Bank Executive and Reserve Bank Ag Economist will wrap up the symposium.
