Africa Climate Smart Agriculture Congress

The Africa Climate Smart Agriculture Congress will unite 200+ senior representatives from ministries of agriculture, heads of key Agri-related public institutions, UN agencies, agricultural firms, NGOs, farm associations, agriculture research and development institutes, investors, donors and the private sector with an objective to provide an opportunity for cross-sector networking and knowledge exchange.
The agenda will look at technological innovations, partnerships, innovative financing and the use of technology and data to advance climate-smart agriculture practices in East Africa. The 40+ speaker panel includes Gabriel Rugalema, Representative of the FAO Kenya, Noelle Obrien, Team Leader of the Finance Innovation for Climate Change Fund (FICCF), Richard Munang, Regional Climate Change Coordinator at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Berber Kramer, Research Fellow of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and Laban Ogallo, Project Coordinator, Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) amongst others.
