This week, seed innovation company Benson Hill announced it is filing for voluntary chapter 11 petitions, while German startup Vytal Global raised $15.5 million to bring its reusable food packaging to the US. Meanwhile, Paulig Group’s venture arm PINC invested in UK startup Elaniti to accelerate soil microbiome intelligence.

Elsewhere, climate tech VC 2150 closed a $216 million Fund II to support urban environment solutions and South Korea invested $10 million in a new research center for cultivated meat.
