The Week in AgriFoodTech: Climeworks raises $162m, Danone acquires Kate Farms, Del Monte files Ch. 11

This week, Swiss direct air capture (DAC) startup Climeworks raised $162 million to scale up its carbon capture technology and Polish startup Proteine Resources netted $11.2m to build an autonomous insect protein factory.

On the CPG front, Danone grabbed a majority stake in medical nutrition company Kate Farms and 138-year old Del Monte Foods filed for bankruptcy.
