The Week in AgriFoodTech: Windfall Bio scoops up $28m, TerraClear bags $15m, Ginkgo buys AgBiome assets

April 11, 2024

This week, Windfall Bio, a US company capturing methane to make biofertilizers, announced a new funding round, as did lab automation company Reshape Biotech, and TerraClear, which makes a rock-picking ‘bot for agriculture.

In the M&A world, Ginkgo Bioworks said it would buy the assets of AgBiome and the Science Based Targets initiative’s new rules for Scope 3 emissions are causing more than a little chaos.
