The Week in AgriFoodTech: Oishii bags another $15m, BTG launches Betagro Ventures, HeavyFinance eyes Ukraine

This week, Thailand-based food company Betagro (“BTG”) launched its own venture arm to invest in early-stage agtech and foodtech startups. Oishii, which grows high-end berries via vertical farming, nabbed $15 million to build out a new solar-powered facility, and Lithuanian investment platform HeavyFinance turned its attention to regenerative ag in Ukraine.
