Main
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, IP, executing and all other related functions related to the assigned engineering projects with the scope of:

  • Power electronics hardware
  • Software (C, C++, etc.)
  • Hardware-software-user interfaces

Interacting daily with the Brazilian team to make sure there is perfect alignment. Interacting daily with the suppliers, clients, operators, R&D researchers and company executives to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the equipment that reach the field.

Job description
We are looking for an accountable engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that such high power electronic projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, execute and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Interact daily with the Brazilian team to make sure there is perfect alignment
  • Interact regularly with the suppliers to make sure the deliverables are done properly
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Requirements

Master / Dipl. Ing degree Electrical Engineering
Proven working experience as a project engineer
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as CAD and Circuit design software
E-Plan
Advanced MS Office skills
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organization skills
