Creating a healthy, humane, and sustainable food supply
The Good Food Institute (GFI) is on the forefront of the movement to use food technology and markets to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger to antibiotic efficacy and the exploitation of billions of animals annually. The Good Food Institute’s Senior Video Production Specialist has a critical role in ensuring that a good food future happens as quickly and efficiently as possible. At GFI, you will help lead the conversation on the growing plant-based and “clean meat” industries to further the work of the world’s top entrepreneurs and scientists who are focused on developing healthy, humane, and sustainable alternatives to the products of factory farming.
How You Will Make a Difference
As GFI’s Senior Video Production Specialist, you will develop engaging videos for good-food startups as well as GFI’s blogs, social media channels, and fundraising initiatives, that will share the food technology revolution with the world! Your videos will spread the sustainable foods message across social media, at food innovation conferences and events, via the news media, and to current and potential donors. You will focus on:
- Overseeing all the production of all video projects, including shooting and editing videos to the highest quality standards and managing publication schedules.
- Collaborating closely with mission-aligned companies and all GFI departments to develop, produce, and edit media projects.
- Maintaining an intimate knowledge of the digital landscape, including social media tools and emerging technology platforms.
- Discovering and creating new recurring video series to post on GFI, YouTube, and other video sharing services.
