AAB is a thematic initiative of the Indian Technology Congress Association (ITCA), a dedicated Association for Technologists focused on facilitating collaboration between Professionals from the industry, R&D Laboratories, and Academic Institutions in Agriculture Technology domain. AAB was conceptualized to progress technology-centric missions and programmes for Indian agriculture to enhance productivity and identify pathways for integration of Indian agriculture with the global milieu.
You would be pleased to note that since its inception, AAB has been active in creating a collaborative platform for stakeholders associated with Indian agriculture to engage and develop relevant technology-based solutions for adoption by the Indian agricultural community. With your support, patronage and active participation, the fledgling group has expanded to include representation from numerous organizations associated with agriculture. Through its events that witnessed significant participation and development of recommendations and action agenda for pursuit in the collaborative mode, AAB is now focused on building convergence and actionable themes for strengthening engineering and technology interventions in the critical areas of ‘’The Future of Foods: Emerging Agri Technologies’’ in the country to achieve the doubling the farmers’ income.
This thematic Conference will integrate the perspectives from all stakeholders including representatives from the Government of India and their Organizations, Department of Agriculture – Karnataka and their organizations, Government Agencies, Water Resource Department-Karnataka, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd, Karnataka Forest Department, University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Policymakers, Industry leaders, Manufacturers, Banking and Investment Organizations, Farmer Associations, FPO’s, FPC’s, Project Consultants, Contractors, NGOs amongst others to deliberate on areas of interest and relevance and identify technology solutions that can be progressed in a collaborative mode.
