Impact & Strategy for Early-Stage Food System Entrepreneurs
October 10, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm$60
Calling all early-stage food system entrepreneurs!
Join Food System 6 at the Kaiser Family Foundation offices in San Francisco for a 1-day program designed to provide you with practical tools to effectively communicate your impact and prepare you for fundraising. You will have the opportunity to network with other change agents, hear directly from investors, and learn from practitioners from the FS6 ecosystem. Lunch will be provided.
Following the event, there will be a networking happy hour at Alchemist from 5pm – 6:30pm. Snacks will be provided but drinks are not included. If you would like to join for this portion of the programming, please RSVP in this invite so that we can get a count for how many will attend.
About the Workshop:
One of the best things that you can do for the longevity of an early-stage impact-driven company is to build a solid foundation – from developing a clear Theory of Change to building the scaffolding for financial and legal stability. With these tools in place, you will be better equipped to reach the right investors, customers, and strategic partners as you grow.
The agenda for the Impact & Strategy workshop is:
– Designing a Theory of Change with Guidelight Strategies with Jennifer O’Connor, Founder and Chief Consultant
– Building Your Financial & Legal Groundwork with Peter Herz, Co-Founder of Food System 6 and 1st Course Capital
– Innovation+Investment+Impact a conversation with a panel of experts led by Renske Lynde, Co-Founder of Food System 6 and 1st Course Capital
– Networking Happy Hour at Alchemist
