DSM’s Partnering Innovation Conference
November 1, 2016 - November 3, 2016
DSM and NCN Invite Entrepreneurs to Participate in a Unique Innovation & Partnering Conference
Entrepreneurs, early-stage companies and start-ups invited to apply to present their company, product or concept for investment, partnership or collaboration with DSM
This conference offers entrepreneurs unique insights into how corporate innovation and venturing organizations evaluate and work with startups, and the opportunity to seek investment or a strategic partnership with a global leader in food, supplement and persona care ingredients.
DSM is interested in engaging with innovators and start-ups working on:
• Sugar reduction and natural alternative sweeteners
• Bio-preservation solutions for food and beverages
• Salt reduction and other natural taste modulation solutions
• Fermentation and enzymatic technologies for new ingredients
• Human nutrition applications containing alternative protein sources
Attendees will learn how DSM pitches on our innovation focus areas and get updated on how DSM’s due diligence and investment process works. DSM will share its evaluation criteria – invaluable information to start-ups and entrepreneurs looking to engage with large multi-nationals. Additionally, attendees will spend significant networking time with DSM executives and enjoy the benefit of free pre-conference mentoring from Nutrition Capital Network and DSM. Follow up after the conference can include everything from direct investment by DSM, to custom commercial arrangements.
This is the fourth in a series of what have been overwhelming successful partnership and innovation conferences by DSM and Nutrition Capital Network. Sanni Raju, CEO of Natreon Inc., who attended DSM’s similar event in 2014 endorsed the process: “The conference provided us with an excellent opportunity to have meaningful discussions with experts in sales and marketing, innovation, manufacturing, regulatory and venturing. Following the conference we closed a Series A round with DSM Venturing which has enabled Natreon to expand our clinical trials, sales and marketing effort and accelerate our revenue growth. In addition to the funding DSM has provided valuable advice on clinical trial design and international sales opportunities that continue to drive our future growth.”
