The urgency for harvesting automation is more apparent now than ever. Covid19 relentlessly demonstrated the vulnerabilities of our food system’s dependence on manual labour. We, the horticulture and automation communities feel a responsibility to accelerate developments towards autonomous harvesting systems. For a more secure food supply system with more flexible, efficient and sustainable harvesting.
We have refused to sit on our hands until October after our April events had to be cancelled. That is why we are introducing Studio RoboCrops. A digital event where the harvesting automation community can make progress in a virtual setting. We invite you to join us!
Studio RoboCrops introduces greenhouse automation businesses from around the world to Dutch agriculture pioneers, investors, analysts and more, who will give insight into the harvesting practice and key challenges therein.
21st July – Picking robot technology for greenhouse fruit crops (cucumber, sweet pepper, eggplant, soft fruit)
28th July – Picking robot technology for greenhouse tomatoes
4th August – Robot technology for other greenhouse applications (harvest prediction, integrated plant health, etc.)
