Unleash Bacteriophage Potential

Phagos is on a mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable future by using bacteria’snatural predator, the bacteriophage, to win the ght against antibiotic resistance and tocure infectious diseases in animal farming. To make our vision a reality, we are looking for excellent lab technicians excited to join ourteam.

You will support Phagos’ R&D team and play a major role in the company’s fate andsuccess. Under the supervision of a research scientist, you will develop and executeinnovative projects, applying phage therapy’s most advanced techniques to animalfarming and participating in broadening Phagos’ applications and research expertise.

Responsibilities

● Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.

o Molecular biology (PCR/qPCR, DNA/RNA extractions, prepare NGS libraries)

● Collaborate with research scientists and other team members to support ongoingprojects and help design phage therapy against bacteria of interest.

● Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe workingenvironment.

● Support the development, optimization, scale up and validation of new protocols.

● Record and analyze data, maintaining detailed and accurate laboratory records.

Requirements

● Experience in molecular biology techniques

● Ability and willingness to work within a fast-paced, adaptive, collaborativeenvironment

● Knowledge/experience in microbiology or phage biology is a plus

● Self-starter and problem solver

● Meticulous and organized

● Minimum B2 English level (written and spoken)
