640 Labs raises $2.65M for their big-data farming technology

September 26, 2014

Some how this one slipped by us, and so in the interest of covering the whole spectrum of agtech deals, we’re covering this belated announcement.

Back on July 7, both Built in Chicago and ChicagoInno reported that 640 Labs, a cloud-based platform to collect, store, and analyze agriculture data has raised a $2.65 seed round. Readers of AgFunderNews got a sneak peak at 640 Labs back in our January post on 5 AgTech Sectors to Watch in 2014. Investors in the round were not disclosed.
